Regulations*

* Note these regulations are a guide only and competitor's should refer to the ASWMC Yearbook for confirmation. We will endeavour to make the website as accurate as possible, but unfortunately typos do occur and after all we are only human!

1. The championship shall consist of events with at least 80% of the planned competitive mileage on sealed surface roads (e.g. tarmacadam or concrete).

2. The championship shall be open to the following 6 classes:

1. Roadgoing Series Production Cars up to 1400cc
2. Roadgoing Series Production Cars over 1400cc up to 1800cc
3. Roadgoing Series Production Cars over 1800cc up to 2600cc
4. Roadgoing Series Production Cars over 2600cc
5. Roadgoing Specialist Production Cars. Car engines up to 1400cc
6. Roadgoing Specialist Production Cars. Car engines over 1400cc up to 1800cc

Cars fitted with forced induction will have 70% capacity loading applied.

3. Points will be awarded to registered contenders only, according to the following table:

Performance in EVENT CLASS of championship contender, ignoring any event awards. 1 2 3 4 5 6
Points scored 18 15 13 12 11 10 to 15th place

PLUS

Relative ASWMC CLASS position of championship contender. 1 2 3 4 5 6
Points scored 18 15 13 12 11 10 to 15th place

Points will be awarded to both Driver and Co-Driver

NOTE: Event Classes may vay from ASWMC Championship Classes.

4. It is not necessary for a Driver and Co-Driver to remain as a team throughout the duration of the championship.

5. Organisers of stage rallies must specify servicing areas and indicate routes to be taken between these points by service crews. This information should be communicated on tracings to the RLO's in whose areas the service areas are situated.

6. A perpetual award will be made to the club organising the highest marked event in the championship each year.

7. Competitors who change class must inform the Championship Co-ordinator before the event.

8. Championship contenders may be asked to carry Championship sponsors decals on their cars to claim points in the championship.
